Well the end of the second week time flys Mr Fishers party 30+ fish banked includind what might be another new fifty (50lb4oz) wont know for sure till I see the pic,also a 42lb, 12 30's to 39lb80z 10 20's to 29lb and the catch also included 3 fully scaled mirrors wich pleases us because they must be from spawn in the lake as we have not stocked any fully scaled; the lads left some nice comments ie; great lake. great fishing, lovely to be so quiet, well looked after by bailiff Paul,.The third week stated off well with a 42.31,28,20. on first night.Full report next weekend

We had an excellent week at the lake - Big thanks and please say thanks to Paul again for being a great bailiff. Loved how quiet it is there, found it to be the perfect venue for some proper French carp fishing with both the lake and the fish absolutely stunning, the location is perfect and the facilities ideal for a weeks session.

I was lucky enough to have first choice of swims so chose swim 1 and managed 11 fish (2 x doubles, 4 x 20lbs and 5 x 30lbs) My fish included a new French PB mirror and common in the same night - a 36lbs 4oz mirror shortly followed by the 35lbs 2oz common. I also then banked a bigger French PB mirror later in the week of 37lbs 8oz so was pleased to say the least. Paul nicknamed me "Pest controller" for catching 2 doubles which he was really surprised about and 4 x low twenties, all of the fish were stunning though and all gave a great account for themselves, the 2 fully scaled doubles I had were beautiful fish.

Dave and Ryan fished the Church Point and the new bailiffs swim and despite the fishing being a little slow with not alot showing in that area of the lake, they managed 2 x 20lbs+ each to 29lbs with both having French PB's too.

Toby struggled at first but moved 4 times before finding some fish and then banked a 25lbs, followed by his 50lbs 4oz! and then managed 3 x 30lbs + including a 35lbs French PB common on the last night.

The other Dave fished swim 10 and had 5 fish to 39lbs including a French PB common of 35lbs.

Jason fished the long point and found it tricky and unfortunately only had 1 take which he didn't connect with.

I'm already trying to wangle another trip over this year...
Time is limited however I have a week free from Sat 19th Sept-26th but only a couple of us can come back, so:

Hi John..

Just a quick note to say what a great time we all had this year..,
As usual fishing was first class, Paul was a great help and the bait
he rolled was fantastic...

I personally had 4 fish.. 35.8, 36, 37,... and the high light of my week 54.2
which ive sent you a photo of....
