New Stock has been carefully introduced into Cas-En-Lac between Jan 2003 - Jan 2004 we have been fortunate enough to find some stunning fish through our French sources. In 2003 we stocked the lake with over 1 tonne of mirrors and commons between 18lb –26lb some of these fish have put on incredible weight gain of 6lb-8lb which to be honest was quite unexpected! In Nov 2003 we stocked a further 62 mirrors up to 30lb these included linear’s, fully scaled’s and a variety of shapes and sizes we expect these to gain similar weights to the 1st stocking.

Lastly we stocked 30 target fish over 30lb these were all handpicked mirrors. We aim to keep the stock at its current level of approximately 300 fish, which is more than enough to keep you happy, and with current weight gains we should have many new 30’s,and 40’s each year ! There are a few catfish in the lake but no one has yet landed one !
