Our season starts from mid March up until the end of November and as we are based around group bookings this ensures minimal angling pressure.

Fresh Lake Bait
Fresh bait is now being rolled and available for you at the lake in as little as a 2½ kg order! The baits are made with about 80% of the ingredients that we have in our pellets that we use for feeding the fish so it’s no wonder these baits have accounted for some of the best catches at Cas-en-Lac.

Bait
Bevo’s Bait is owned by co-owner of Cas-en-Lac John Bevan. John is well known in the bait industry and has developed the bait especially for Cas-en-Lac. This bait has been used with great success since the start in 2002 and has accounted for a lot of the big fish captures including many 40’s and 50’s.

Ferry Crossing
Cas-en-Lac can offer to book your ferry crossing for you. We are agents for Brittany Ferries and P&O Ferries so can get the ferry crossing at a discounted rate which we pass on to you. However, sometimes both these ferry companies promote special offers that are cheaper than our discounted rate so we encourage you to check direct before booking with us.

Brittany Ferries
Portsmouth to St Malo (overnight crossing) approx 1 hour drive to lake
Portsmouth to Caen (overnight crossing) approx 2 hour drive to lake.

P&O Ferries
Dover to Calais (1hr 30 min crossing) approx 5½ hours drive to lake.

L&D Lines
Portsmouth to Le Harve (overnight crossing) approx 3 hours drive to lake.

Cost wise we recommend you try L&D Lines but we cannot book this ferry for you.
